there will be a presentation to the city commission tomorrow (wednesday the 20th) on the need for the city to have a Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator on their staff.  between about 4 and 5:00pm.
It would be good to have cyclists present (although this is not a public hearing and no citizen comments will likely be heard).

i imagine this will be at city hall.

the democrap is doing an article about trey. they’re looking for friends or family members to email them stories about him and his life. i think this has the potential to be a really good thing, but i worry about their track record with sensitivity and reason. the writer’s email address is: jburlew@tallahassee.com they want people to include a phone number in the email.

Arun’s bike got stolen.

Blue steel frame, medium-large. Yellow front suspension. Oversized downtube makes it appear aluminum. Silver bars and seat post. Black foam grips and no name saddle. bmx pedals. crap shimano shifters, and derailluers. worst of all, the NOT cheap iBert seat we got for Cricket and that I fell in love with was on it. its bright green, and looks like nothing else. It hangs off the steering portion of the stem.

Any info or help is appreciated.
